With over thirty years experience, Mr. Dyson is accomplished in business, tax services and financial consulting, including experience in performing corporate, governmental, regulatory and non-profit accounting, financial statement preparation & analysis, budget preparation, fiscal/organization management & controls, strategic planning/positioning, project & process management systems integration and employee development.
In addition to public accounting, Mr. Dyson has substantial senior accounting and finance executive experience. Mr. Dyson has served as an accounting manager with Houston Independent School District, Treasurer and Chief Business Officer at University of St. Thomas, Fiscal Officer for the Louisiana Governor’s Special Commission on Education Services, Assistant Legislative Auditor for the State of Louisiana, and as Controller with Harris County Precinct One and the Harris County Community Development Department.
Mr. Dyson is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy and the State Board of Certified Public Accountants of Louisiana. The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners awarded him the credential and designation as a Certified Fraud Examiner. Intuit awarded him a certificate as a Certified QuickBooks ProAdviser. Mr. Dyson is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Dyson graduated in 1976 with a Bachelors of Science in Accounting from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, Louisiana.
